Kate Miller earned her AS in Human Biology and Physical Therapist Assistant studies at Mesa College. She then earned her BSPTA from Pima Medical Institute. Currently residing in San Diego, Kate works in multiple environments including skilled nursing, inpatient, and outpatient orthopedic. She is an APTA-certified clinical instructor and has eyes on the University of Texas PTA-t- DPT bridge program. Kate holds voluntary and elected positions within the California Physical Therapy Association, including first PT-CAL-PAC PTA Board of Trustees Member and PAC San Diego Liaison. She has given multiple public lectures at schools, district meetings, and the CPTA Student Conclave. Kate has composed publications for the CPTA, health-related blogs, and has recently created a YouTube channel. A superhero nerd, her hobbies include navigating athletic obstacle courses, traveling, and hanging out with her husband and two rescue pups: Mr. Magoo and Chronos.
