Michelle graduated with her master’s of science degree from D’Youville College in 2000 with a minor in psychology. She has dedicated her entire career to the neurological population. In 2008, she opened Niagara Therapy, LLC, which is the first and only private neurological-based outpatient practice in the northwest region of Pennsylvania. Niagara Therapy offers specialty-based OT, PT, and SLP to adult and pediatric patients with neurological diagnoses, and places a strong focus on the team approach. As the sole owner, Michelle balances her day with administration and client care. She currently serves as the Pennsylvania Representative for the Representative Assembly of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), after 12 years on the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association (POTA) Board. Michelle also sits on the Clinical Advisory Committee for the National MS Society. She teaches professionally for continuing education companies in the areas of neurological rehabilitation and provides adjunct instruction at university OT and PT programs. Michelle has advanced training in NDT and is certified in Neuro-IFRAH interventions, Bioness devices, and SAEBO devices. She has been awarded the National MS Society Partner in Care, OpenCare Choice Top Therapy Location, and is the youngest recipient of the Delta Sigma Award and Marguerite D’Youville Honor Society for D’Youville College Alumni.
